This was my first half marathon for over 20 years. I put 3 months specific training into it and expected about a 1 hour 50mins time.
Gained a 1 hour 42mins time and 4th in my category on what is a fantastic course well marshalled and supported by thousands of enthusiastic local people. The cadets were awesome too supplying water and right from the start when I drove up from Exeter that morning you could see how well organised this event was. So, all being well will come back in 2023 but look to stay at least overnight instead of doing the long drive.
